Property Taxes
All tax/property information is located on the county website at casscountymi.org. It is found by clicking Property Tax Search. If you think there is an error with your property tax bill’s value or Principal Residence Exemption, please contact the township assessor at 269-646-8020.
If you need to correct your mailing address, please contact the treasurer at treasurer@newbergtwp.com. For Fed Ex or UPS Deliveries please use 58391 M40 Jones, MI 49061.
Payment by Drop Box
The township does have a payment drop box located in the foyer at the township hall and is open 24 hours. If you would like a receipt, please enclose a self-address stamped envelope with your payment. Make checks payable to Newberg Township.
In Person collection dates at the Township Hall (13020 Born St)
Summer property taxes are due September 14, 2026 by 5 pm. In-person collection dates at the Township Hall (13020 Born St) are September 10 5-7 pm and September 14 9 am – 5 pm. If paying with cash, please have exact amount.
Online Tax Payments
The Treasurer’s Office accepts ACH & credit card payments for current property tax bills online through www.bsaonline.com or through our online payment page. This service is provided by our processing vendor Stripe and fees will apply to online payments.
Service Fees
ACH – $0-$1000 – $3.00 fee, $1001 – $5000 – $6.00 fee, $5001+ – $12.00 fee.
Credit Card – 2.8% of the payment amount plus $0.50 transaction fee.
