NOTICE OF REGISTRATION FOR THE ELECTION TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 6, 2024

NEWBERG TOWNSHIP, MICHGAN

TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF NEWBERG TOWNSHIP:

PLEASE TAKE NOTE that any qualified elector of Newberg Township who is not already registered, may register to vote at the office of the Township Clerk; the office of the County Clerk; a Secretary of State branch office, or other designated state agency. Registration forms can be obtained at mi.gov/vote and mailed to the Township Clerk.

The last day to register in any manner other than in-person with the local clerk is Monday, July 22nd 2024.

After this day, anyone who qualifies as an elector may register to vote in person with proof of residency at Newberg Township Hall, located at 13020 Born St. Jones Mi. 49061 by appointment. For an appointment email clerk@newbergtwp.com or call 269-251-6600.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE Voters will be voting on the STATE PRIMARY. CCDET – Renewal of the 0.4751 mill levy on all property for four years to be used in support of law enforcement, criminal justice and public safety. COA – Renewal of 0.9827 mill levy on all property for four years to be used for services to older citizens. Newberg Township Road Mileage Renewal- Renewal of 1.0 mill of taxable valuation of real and personal property subject to taxation as an extra-voted millage to be used for roads within Newberg Township.
