Budget Public Hearing Notice

The Newberg Township Board will hold a public hearing on the proposed township

budget for fiscal year 2026/27 at Newberg Township Fire Department located at 11900

McKinley St. Jones Mi. on March 9th 2026 at 7pm following the General Board

Meeting. The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the

proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing. Newberg Township will

collect the maximum allowable millage by law as follow: Newberg Township

Allocated .8554, extra voted 1.0000 Roads, Newberg Fire 1.0000, Newberg

Ambulance 1.0000. A copy of the budget is available for public inspection by

contacting the Newberg Township Clerk at 269-244-8747 or clerk@newbergtwp.com.

The Newberg Township board will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and

services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed materials

being considered at the meeting, to individuals with disabilities at the meeting upon 15

days notice to the Newberg Township board. Individuals with disabilities requiring
