To the Qualified Voters of Newberg Township:

Please Take Notice that the General Election will be held on Tuesday November 3rd 2020

The Polls for said election will open at 7am and close at 8pm on November 3rd 2020.

Offices on the ballot include: 

President of the United States, United States Senator, Representative in Congress 6th District, Representative in the State Legislature 59th District, State Board of Education, State Board of University of Michigan and Michigan State University, Governor of Wayne State University, Cass County Offices, Township Board, Local School Board Offices, Community Colleges Board of Trustee,

Proposals on the ballot include:

State Proposal 20-1: Proposed constitutional amendment to allow money form oil and gas mining on state-owned lands to continue to be collected in state funds.

State Proposal 20-2: Proposed constitutional amendment to require a search warrant in order to access a person’s electronic data.

Newberg Township Proposal Road Maintenance, Repair and Replacement: Shall Township of Newberg mileage up to 1.0 (one mill). Said millage will be levied for a period of 2 years for the construction of roads, repairs and maintenance.

Newberg Township Polling location: Newberg Twp. Fire Department, 11900 McKinley St. Jones Michigan 49061

Polling location is handicap accessible, and persons with special needs, as defined in the Americans with Disabilities Act, shall be supplied with Braille or audio instructions upon request.
