ELECTION NOTICE
ST. JOSEPH, BRANCH, CASS, AND KALAMAZOO COUNTIES TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2019
Notice is hereby given that a Special Election will be held in St. Joseph County, Branch County, Cass County, and Kalamazoo County on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 to vote on a Colon Community Schools proposal. The polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the following polling locations:
Cass County Mason Township – Township Hall at 17049 US 12 Newberg Township – Township Fire Department at 11900 McKinley Street Porter Township – Township Hall at 69373 Baldwin Prairie Road
Please take notice that the residents will be voting on CITY OF THREE RIVERS COMMISSION OFFICES and the following proposals as listed below:
- JOSEPH COUNTY INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL DISTRICT AREA CAREER AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION PROPOSAL 1 MILL FOR 10 YEARS
THREE RIVERS COMMUNITY SCHOOLS GENERAL OBLIGATION UNLIMITED TAX BOND PROPOSAL FOR BUILDING AND SITE PURPOSES IN THE AMOUNT OF NOT TO EXCEED $61,345,000 PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE THAT THE BONDS OF THE SCHOOL DISTRICT, IF APPROVED BY A MAJORITY VOTE OF THE ELECTORS AT THIS ELECTION, WILL BE GENERAL OBLIGATION UNLIMITED TAX BONDS PAYABLE FROM GENERAL AD VALOREM TAXES.

All electors who are registered with the township clerk in which they reside are eligible to vote at this election. Sample ballots can be found at www.mi.gov/vote.
Persons with questions about special needs as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act should contact the local clerk’s office. All polling locations are accessible for voters with disabilities. Please contact your Township or City Clerk for information regarding absentee ballots. The last day for absentee ballots to be mailed is Friday, November 1, 2019 at 5:00 p.m.
